CHHSO Audition Information: 2023-2024 Academic Year
All students interested in auditioning for String Ensemble must prepare the following:
3 octave scales (G, A, Bb, B, C, and D, E, and F major and minor) with regional bowing
Excerpt or etude from 2022 SRO Auditions (please email Mrs. Grooms for the file)
Sight reading excerpt
Students interested in auditioning for Intermediate Orchestra must prepare the following:
2 octave scales (G, A, Bb, B, C, and D, E, and F major and minor) with regional bowing
2023 CRO excerpt (please email Mrs. Grooms for the file)
Sight reading excerpt
Auditions will take place March 14, 16, 20, 22, 24, 28, and 30 after school.
